WiZ8rd Known Issues

Known Issues for the WiZ8rd

11/13/25:

  • Site wide malfunction due to site migration from 11/11/25 to 11/13/25.
  • The site appears to load slower than usual. This may be to the change in hosts.
  • Some images and icons lost due to host incompatibility issues.
  • WIZ8RD tutorial video lost due to host incompatibility.
  • WIZ8RD Magic Orb Control behave different due to host incompatibility. However, WIZ8RD is fully functional. Default fortunes must now be set by user.

10/2/25:

  • Development for the WIZ8RD has been slowed due to the up and coming seasons. Downloadable version of WIZ8RD release has been delayed til Jan 2026.
  • Confirmed, the AI Voice option is no longer functioning. Device audio option is working fine. AI Voice option has been temporarily discontinued.
  • Random works but the browser will make it appear otherwise. Browser refreshes order options. Probably not an issue in the up and coming downloadable version.
  • Auto play is not working and will not be repaired. Autoplay has been discontinued.

9/21/25:

  • The WIZ8RD was down for a couple of days but is now back more powerful than ever. Maybe not perfect but close. Sort of. ??
  • WIZ8RD Tutorial is slightly outdated but still relevant. A new tutorial is on the list – but not at the top right now.
  • Random Order may repeat, this may be to a refreshed browser restarting the list/fortune. Still in beta.
  • Auto play functions only once in Quick Fortune mode for laptop. Not a bug. Auto play doesn’t function on iOS, device limitation. Auto play is not intended to function outside of Quick Links/Fortunes.
  • Pause/Freeze, Previous, Next, Repeat functions being considered for implementation.
  • Voice Default. The default voice is Samantha. If you do not have Samantha the default will be whatever your devices voice is set to. This has not been cross platform tested for functionality. You tell us, is it working? How about the AI voice option, is that working for ya?

9/14/25:

  • FIXED: 9/15/25 Import export and share functions do not behave as expected on iOS. Other devices may have same issue.
  • Formatting inconsistencies may exist in WiZ8rd Libraries.
  • FIXED: 9/15/25 Device Voice Selection on WiZ8rd Control only plays voices native on users device. (not a bug)
  • AI Voice selection in WiZ8rd Control has not been tested for functionality. May not work yet. Requires API service subscriptions.
  • WiZ8rd Download is currently not available. In development and expected for release by late Sept 2025.
